Rinsing the dishes
Spray bottle – Want to save water when rinsing the dishes? We go this tip from another cruiser. We use a spray bottle to spray off our clean dishes instead of running them under the tap. It really works well and uses just a fraction of the water to rinse the dishes. 
Great idea! I knew about the lingerie bags and the pegs aren’t needed in our boat as we have a very deep area for dish storage (hard to reach for short people like me) but the spray bottle idea I hadn’t heard of. Thank you!
Hi BIll, Love all the gadget ideas. This idea I would add something to make it safer from bacteria. I would add a couple drops of food grade alcohol or hydrogen peroxide. Allowing everything to dry completely will also kill any bacteria.
